Same Day Pizza

Ingredients

Pizza night doesn’t have to mean planning days ahead—this same-day dough recipe delivers airy, flavorful crust with minimal effort and maximum payoff. Using a no-knead method and simple stretch-and-folds, you’ll get the open crumb and chewy texture of artisan pizza (which takes days) without the wait. Perfect for when the craving hits, this dough is easy to work with, forgiving, and ready to bake in just a few hours. All you need is flour, water, yeast, and salt to turn a weeknight into a wood-fired-worthy feast.

  • 500gr Flour

  • 400gr Luke warm water

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 2 tsp Honey / sugar

  • 1 tbsp Dry yeast

  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil

  • 1 cup semolina to shape (skip if unavailable)

  1. In a bowl mix water, honey and yeast. Let it bloom for around 20 min or until bubbly

  2. Add flour, olive oil, salt and mix just enough to make a rough dough, no kneading needed. Cover and let rest for 30min

  3. After 30 min wet your hands and lift then fold the sides

  4. Repeat the lift and fold motion every 30min 4 more times

  5. Shape dough balls depending on wanted portions and let rest 30 other minutes

  6. Sprinkle the semolina on your counter and start forming your pizza pushing in circular motions starting from the center

  7. Add your toppings

  8. Preheat your over with the pan in it (it should be hot for the next step) at 220°c

  9. Slide your pizza in the oven and let cook for around 20min, enjoy !

My favorite sauce is the Mutti pizza sauce, mushrooms, red onions and black olives. Now for the cheese i do a mix of mozzarella and edam then sprinkle oregano
